Open access policy, licensing and copyright

LBSHerald shares the idea of free knowledge exchange. LBSHerald has consistently followed an open access policy.

We place all content of the journal in the public domain. Each article is available as a separate full-text publication unit in PDF format with a unique URL on the LBSHerald website. Access to the journal contents is open and free of charge to any user or institution, regardless of status or geographical location. Each user has the right to free access to all LBSHerald content via the public Internet without restrictions and registration. LBSHerald permits any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the Internet itself. The only limitation LBSHerald recognizes is the author's right to control references to authorship when using their work.
This provision is in line with the definition of the Budapest Open Access Initiative.

All journal content is licensed under a Creative Commons BY 4.0 International license.

By submitting an article to LBSHerald, the author automatically agrees to transfer the non-exclusive publishing rights to publish the article. The author gives the Journal the right to publish and place the article on the Journal's website in open access. The author retains all copyrights without restriction. The author does not receive royalties.
